You can become a designer when you have your own business (based on a VAT invoices) but also when you don’t (based on bills). For those of you who are not Polish citizens you can collaborate with KUKA based on invoices.
The prices you can see on our website are gross prices. As a ku-ka.pl designer you will earn 10% of each order’s gross cost if your design was used. The commission is registered on your online account (that you can check in your designer panel after you log in at ku-ka.pl) when the order is finalized and registered.
Example:
A customer buys 2 linear meters of chino with your design: 2lm x 75 zl gross = 150zl gross. Your commission : 10%*150zl= 15zl gross.
After you log in at ku-ka.pl you will be able to see, in your designer panel, how many meters of the fabrics with your designs have been bought. When we register a payment from a customer who bought one of the fabrics with your design, you will see how much money you’ve made in your panel. When you earn more than 200zl you will be able to transfer your earnings to your bank account, however you can do that only once a month.
Economic activity
In order to pay out your commission you’ll have to send us an invoice (you find our information here), with the title „graphic service” with a 14-day payment date. You can email the invoice to us (in a pdf format) to [email protected] or by mail (you’ll find the address here).
We’ll transfer your commission to the bank account listed on your invoice. The sum you see on your designer panel is what you should put in your invoice as gross price – to pay out.
Natural person:
In order to pay out your commission you’ll have to email us at [email protected] with a request to pay out your commission with your nickname at KUKA. Within 3 days you’ll receive an email with a commission contract with the bill. You should print out the documents, sign them and send them to our postal address. After we receive the documents, we’ll send you a transfer to the bank account specified in your account on our website.
We will subtract an advance payment for the income tax from the sum you’ll receive, which we will then send to the appropriate tax office. At the end of each tax year you’ll receive a PIT-11 from us with all your earnings and advance payments.

No, you don’t have to order your designs on sample materials.
But it is a good practice :-)
Ordering a sample or a coupon will let you see if the pattern on the fabric comes out exactly as you designed: colours and shades, but also the size of the design and particular elements.
